2.4-inch UV Tempered Glass Usage Tips

Due to its high hardness, scratch resistance, and excellent light transmittance, 2.4-inch UV tempered glass is widely used in applications such as mobile phone screens and small electronic device covers. To ensure long-term stable use and optimal performance, the following are some practical usage tips.

1. Installation Precautions

During installation, avoid direct contact with the glass surface to prevent fingerprints and grease, which may affect light transmittance and aesthetics. It is recommended to wear dust-free gloves and use a dedicated suction tool or cleaning cloth to assist in lamination. Ensure that the lamination surface is free of dust and water stains. If necessary, use an air blower to clean the gap before the UV adhesive cures.

2. Cleaning and Maintenance

For daily cleaning, use a soft microfiber cloth with a small amount of neutral detergent (such as alcohol diluted in water) and gently wipe. Avoid using rough cloths, paper towels, or cleaning products containing ammonia or abrasives to prevent scratching the surface. For stubborn stains, rinse with clean water first, then gently wipe dry, avoiding excessive force.

3. Drop Protection and Protection

Despite its high hardness, UV tempered glass can still break due to severe impact. It is recommended to use a protective case on the device to reduce direct impact stress during drops. Avoid mixing with hard objects such as keys and coins during storage to prevent accidental scratches.

4. UV Adhesive Curing Tips

If using UV adhesive, ensure uniform UV exposure during curing to avoid areas of under-curing that could lead to a weak bond. Curing time is typically 1-3 minutes; please refer to the adhesive instructions for details.

5. Long-Term Use Recommendations

Regularly inspect the glass edges for warping or cracks. If damage is detected, replace the glass promptly to prevent shattered glass from breaking and compromising safety. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme high or low temperatures to prevent degradation of the material's properties.

Following these tips can effectively extend the life of your 2.4-inch UV tempered glass, maintaining its clarity and durability.
